Cayman Islands - Updates on FATCA Reporting due date for 2019 reporting

On May 19, 2019, The Cayman Islands Department for International Tax Cooperation (“DITC”) released News & Updates for #FATCA and #CRS.

AEoI Portal is now offline

As DITC develops a new portal (“The DITC Portal”) for registration and reporting, the #AEoI Portal is now offline. DITC will inform in due courses about steps to log into the DITC Portal.

FATCA Reporting due date extended to 16 November 2020

DITC under "FAQ - 6 - Is the annual CRS and FATCA reporting deadline changing?" informed, that the FATCA Reporting due date for 2019 returns is extended to 16 November 2020.

The FATCA reporting due date is now aligned with the CRS Reporting due date, announced on April 29, 2020.
